Ryan favors Ethereum as a leading utility blockchain due to its proven track record (never gone down), trusted infrastructure, and strong network effects. He believes ETH will see exponential demand growth as institutions need it to power blockchain transactions in the AI and tokenization era.
BlackRock views Ethereum differently than Bitcoin - more like the Apple App Store, a platform for decentralized software, stablecoins, and tokenized real-world assets. Still early in the adoption curve.
Failed breakout move. Ross would have been stopped out for a 9% loss. Does not look like it's going higher next week.
Gareth has taken a small starter position (~10% of portfolio) around $1560, citing a long-term trend line connecting the 2022 bear market low and the April 2025 tariff panic low. He plans to add at $1385 and $1150 if it goes lower. Short-term oversold bounce expected.
Chart looks bad but plans to start nibbling around $1,700 with potential to go lower to $1,400. Legging in gradually.
ETH has broken its trend line and is forming a bear flag. It does not look healthy technically. Key support levels are at $1,940, $1,815, and the double-bottom at $1,740. Soloway is neither short nor long, but would start nibbling around $1,700 if it gets there.
Ethereum has already broken below its long-term trend line, making it technically weaker than Bitcoin. It needs to reclaim $2,160–$2,170 just to neutralize damage, with vulnerability down to $1,745–$1,750 double-bottom target.
Tom mentions holding some Ethereum as part of his crypto allocation, though Bitcoin is the primary holding.
ETH is forming a bear flag and 'hugging the line' which signals weakening. Gareth is not looking at it as an opportunity and would wait for a move down to $1,800 before considering buying. Resistance is at $2,700.
ETH is at a make-or-break support around $2,100–$2,120. If this holds, it could bounce; if it breaks, targets are $1,700 and potentially $1,400. Gareth ties ETH's fate to the Nasdaq's direction in the near term.
