Nice retest buy with the story and trend in place. Ross suggests risking about 10% on HUD for a potential breakout move.
The stock is breaking out with strong volume and is expected to benefit from the bullish copper market.
HBM is showing a classic breakout on above-average volume after a 3-4 month consolidation. The host's service bought it in December and it has the same setup again. HBM recently acquired Arizona's Sonoran Copper for $1.5 billion, positioning it as a key North American copper asset.
Ross loves HBM and already bought it in December through his Alpha stock service. It has a textbook breakout with a perfect retest and second shallowing move. It's a higher-momentum play with a 5% average daily range. He notes they're a few percent late on the ideal entry but it's still a good buy.
Smaller Canadian copper operator that acquired Arizona Sonoran Copper for $1.5B, giving it one of the largest copper districts in North America. American assets, long life, low cost, no African geopolitical risk. Ross says this is the kind of name a major could acquire at a fat premium.
Mineral/copper theme playing very strong, perfect breakout and retest pattern, looks great for continuation
Previously recommended buy at breakout area. After Trump's war announcement it rolled over but found perfect support at the initial breakout retest level. Has since surged 18% in 3 weeks while everything else was down. Still looks great.
Stock is pulling back to the 200-day simple moving average in the $17-$19 range, which Ross identifies as a phenomenal buy point. He previously traded it successfully from $18 to $28 and sees the same pattern forming again.
HBM is at a perfect buy zone between $17-$19, sitting at the 200-day moving average support and a previous breakout level. It previously ran from $18 to $28 and has pulled back to the breakout area. Ross already owns shares and is adding more. Copper miners benefit from AI infrastructure demand and supply shortages.
Ross notes HBM has already tripled since last summer and recently acquired Arizona Sonoran Copper for 100% ownership of the Cactus Copper project. He previously recommended it to his members.
